One of my favourite achievements is reaching the popular Mueller Hut - I’d walked the 2000, well 2200 to be more precise, steep steps to get to Sealy Tarns a few times but hadn’t been equipped enough to pluck up the courage to continue further. That being said I still wasn’t fully prepared this time around, having been advised to use crampons and soon realising why, as I found myself scrambling up the side of rocks trying to find a secure grip in the snow and ice before every step was made, but with some encouragement and determination I was so happy to finally see this hut in person.
I hope next time I have the chance to capture one of those spectacular sunsets/sunrises many photographers have done before me.
